Usage warnings and overage billing

Proactive emails

We watch usage daily and email you before a bill surprises you:

• 80% used — heads-up email with one-click upgrade link.
• 95% used — last-call email if overages are off.
• Overage started — fires the first time you cross your base plan into metered territory.
• Cap reached — fires when your personal overage cap is hit.

Overages

Paid plans (5K trial-Starter excluded) bill overages at $1.25 per 1,000 renders, on top of the base subscription. Overages are off by default — you must opt in under Plans → Overage preferences.

Hard cap protection

The system enforces a hard ceiling at 100% of your base plan to prevent runaway bills, even with overages enabled. Need more? Upgrade to the next tier.

In-app indicators

The top-nav usage indicator and Dashboard show your current % used, projected end-of-period total, and remaining quota in real time.
